Default Pro Tools 10 trouble on a Hackintosh

My Hackintosh has the following hardware.

Intel 3930k
Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3
Corsair Vengeance 1600 32GB
Radeon HD 5770

My interface is the TC Electronic Konnekt 48.

I have been running OSX 10.8.5 with Pro Tools 10.3.7 for a while now with out any issue. All of a sudden PT doesn't want to open. Even with all of the plugins removed from the plugins folder. In the Activity Monitor PT is (Not Responding) on and off. Eventually PT will open and runs OK but this can take 15-20 mins.

I have done all of the OSX optimizations. I have Turbo Boost, C-State, and Hyper Threading all turned off in the bios. I have reinstalled Pro Tools and tried trashing the Prefs and Databases.

Everything else runs fine. I'm at a loss here. Any suggestions? Any more info needed?

Thanks,
Alex

Another fresh OS install. The only other thing I have installed is Pro Tools. No third party plugins or anything. Its still doing it. PT takes about 15 mins to open. In activity monitor it comes in and out of Not Responding. It doesn't create a crash report unless I force quit. Even then it doesn't say any threads have crash.

Any advice? Everything works fine on the Windows side. I might have to just go back to that.

it may be your interface, or the audio driver it is defaulting to when opening pro tools. check that. your computer should work

Thanks,

I have tried 2 different interfaces. An MR816 and the Konnekt 48. Same result.

Wombat, I have the ethernet disabled in the bios. I have a wireless card installed but even with wifi turned off it doesn't make any difference. Actually I tried removing the wifi card completely.

I have also tried different firewire cables on both interfaces.

Well, I have snow leopard 10.6.8 installed and its doing the exact same thing. It takes a couple mins for the splash screen to even come up. When it finally starts loading things to runs through the stock plugins pretty quick. When it reaches my McDsp AAX plugins it hangs on every single one of them. I would think it was an iLok issues(and it may still be) but it worked fine on my windows partition. I had to use the VoodooTSCSync.kext To get it to boot. Thats the only other thing I did other than easybeast. Any suggestions? Maybe bios settings?
