Default Digi 002 Rack Not Booting Up

002 Rack
Serial #UA1967200F
Imac Intel 10.6.8
Pro Tools 7.4

I've had my 002 Rack for about 10 years. I had the power harness replaced under warranty many years ago. It's given me consistent service since then. But now it gets hung up when I power it up. I can't select the mute button or the alt source to mon button. After warming up it clicks and appears operational and then dies again. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It seems like a power supply issue. I'm wondering if it needs another power harness. Any ideas?

Most likely is the harness, try taking it out clean all the terminals, grab some electrical cleaning fluid, once cleaned seat and reseat both ends of the harness over terminals, if it is not that could be firewire clip? Did happen to mine, dont hot swap f/w cables ever.
Cheers

Cleaned the terminals and still getting intermittent power failures: clicking on and off. Usually stabilizes after warming up, but seems to be getting worse. Clean again or do I need another harness?

Pretty sure it is your power harness, you could power everything down disconnect all p/cords, remove the harness again get some good electrical cleaner not crs and retry or contact avid for replacement

So I've changed the power harness to the latest version and cleaned the terminals. It worked solid for about a week, but now it goes back to cycling the power and is pretty much unusable. Do you think a new power supply is in order or should just find a used one on Ebay?
