Default Repeatable Crash (Just FYI)

Just putting it here so people can find an answer if they ever have to search for it.. Especially wanted to put this here since I can never get a response to any of my own issues

The problem was .mp3's would hang Pro Tools 8.0.5 on Win7 64bit. Repeated it on 4 different systems all with different motherboards, RAM amounts, HD's ect. So far I have been able to repeat the hand on each system.

I found that a database pref. being created by Hypersonic in PT was the cause of the issue. (Note that Hypersonic never claimed to be compatible with Win7 or Win7 64bit. It also causes an exception on exiting Pro Tools 8.0.5 on the same setup.

Pain in the ass, but the work around thus far has been to run Hypersonic in compatibility mode for Windows XP, and deleting the database pref.
