Free ProTools is still available

So after weeks of looking I have finally found ProTools free still available for download. Hopefully Avid will let these sites still provide these links.

The upper link has PT3.4 but I couldn,t get it working on my Powerbook G3 pizmo running os9.1

The bottom link has 5.01 and I successfully installed it.

It is so kool to open up 16 year old sessions

quick update , I was able to install PTfree 3.4. A lil finicky and if I would have followed the install instructions correctly the first time, it would have worked.

The difference I noticed between 3.4 and 5.01 is that in 3.4 you get virtual tracks not so with 5.01.

But in 5.01 you get more insert effects, 3.4 are just some eq's. In 5.01 you get eq's plus reverb, digital delays and several others.

So as of now I will be using the 3.4 as that is what I originally used to record my old sessions
