Default firewire cd burner

Is anyone out there using a firewire CDR to burn audio cds, (maybe using Jam)? I'd like to stay away from SCSI if I can on my G4 and just use the firewire.

Yah. Using a Que! 4x/4x/24x CD-RW. Works fine using bundled Toast. Haven't tried with Jam. Or uh, jelly.

jnitti, I've tested the LaCie 8x4x32 Firewire burner with a Plextor mech. Works great with Toast 4.1, but very limited for audio. Not reconized with Jam 2.5. Masterlist, forget about it. Its very picky about which SCSI burners it works with. And WaveBurner would be great but no as well. So you'll have to hold out for Adaptec to get something out. SCSI still rocks and IS faster than FireWire at this point, AND SCSI burners DO work with most of the above apps.
