I received my 6.0.2 update Monday afternoon, and just got around to installing it yesterday. Two things come to mind- first of all, your Mac must be running a minimum of 10.2.5 for 6.0.2 to work. Second of all, apparently a firmware upgrade needs to take place the first time 6.0.2 runs and attempts to interface with the 002. I have a TiBook 800, it took approximately 7 minutes for this to complete. But after that, everything was running just fine... in ProTools.

NOW I can't choose the 002 as my main sound output so that I can monitor any other programs through it, whereas in OS 9 I could- anyone have any suggestions..? Arrggghh it's frustrating, I had to restart in OS 9 just to hear Reason on some decent speakers! I'm hoping that there is a simple solution to this problem and I'm just being a simpleton.

Isn't it true that the Core Audio driver is still unreleased for the 002. ie.. We need Core Audio to use the 002 for itunes and other apps to see the 002 as an Audio output?

If so, the other releases of 6.0.1 have it, shouldn't 6.0.2 be right around the corner?
