UAD plugins gain reduction not showing??

Hi everyone!
My first post here! I hope I can learn a lot from you guys and maybe be of help to others later.

I recently purchased an 8 fader blue DCommand with XMon that I'm using with PT8 (HD2). I'm still getting used to it, but I'm pretty confident it's gonna work for me.

Here's my first question: Is there a reason why UAD plugins don't show gain reduction in the console? Every other plugin does (TDM or RTAS). I was dissapointed cause I'm using 80% UAD stuff now. Is that a known bug? Is it a UAD or AVID bug?

Hhahaha, you know, it actually IS!! :))))

For some reason it didn't show when I submited it, and then I read there was some issues with the forum at that time, so I asummed it was never going to be published.

I recently upgraded to HDX and now I experiencing the same behavior on my Icon but not UAD plugins; Cedar DNS One. DNS One does not show gain reduction at all. Waves plugins (RTAS) also have very spotty gain reduction metering.

Are you on HDX or TDM?

After some more use I now got to some conclusions. It's really plugin dependent. Some gain reduction is super acurate (massey deesser, for example), while other plugins either don't show, or they show weird values. I guess you just get used to which ones you can rely on, and use the computer screen for the others.
