Plugins Active, But not visible

Recently I encountered a very irritating issue for the first time. All of my plugins seem to still work when inserted, but when selected they don't actually make the plugin itself visible. For example, I am using NI Massive on an instrument track and I can hear that massive is indeed working. However, when I click on the insert where massive is located it turns white but I cant view massive. The same thing happens with any other plugin on any type of channel (audio, aux, instrument...)

I have already tried a clean uninstall followed by re installation and upgrade plus repair permissions and restarted computer. HELP!

If anyone has had this problem before or has any type of solution please respond!!!

Don't know if this helps:
I had a similar problem, the plugin window was almost all of it outside the screen. I found somewhere a key combination that made the PI window pop up top left on the screen. Shift-option, shift-ctrl-option, ctrl-command, don't remember. Might be worth a try. Hide the PI first, then try.

I am having the same issue now, just wondering if you were able to find any resolution for the problem, or if you were able to find out anymore information on what the problem could be.
