C\'mon Digi TS! I\'ve got work to do
Digi,
What should I do after installing the TDM 6.7cs7 version that was on the website two days ago to return PT to an acceptable level of reliability? You posted the dang update. Seems like the least you could do would be to explain to me why you've changed the update and what I need to do damage control after installing the bogus version of 6.7cs7? Hello? |

Re: C\'mon Digi TS! I\'ve got work to do
What a load of crap!
Does anyone out there care to offer the best plan after installing a bogus update? Is it necessary to trash the application and start from scratch, updating back up to a working update level.... or just install the previous cs Version? Anyone out there with an idea about this, I'd love to hear from you before this post disappears too!!! |

OK
It's 8:25 where I am. I bet US$10 (payable to the 1st Digi TS person that actually helps me out with some useful info) that this post disappears entirely without an answer from Digi by 11:30 my time. And if you want to make a side bet, just let me know. Better hurry though... Clocks tickin' |

Re: C\'mon Digi TS! I\'ve got work to do
Hi
I would suggest removing the pluggin and pluggin settings folders from the digidesign folder and put them on your desktop. Next trash the digidesign folder. Reinstall the PT application from CD or a web installer. Verify and repair disk permissions etc. Put the pluggins and pluggin settings folder back where the should be in the digi folder. Now do your cs updates. I have been running 6.7 cs3 (i think ) and it has been working ok for me...... I hope this helps. Regards Dave

Hi
Also, it would be worth following the digi guidelines in regards to setup and config of your system. http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.p...fpart=1#177661 I am sure you'll be up and running in no time! Regards Dave

Re: C\'mon Digi TS! I\'ve got work to do
Many thanks Dave.
I was happily running TDM 6.7cs4 when I was fatally attracted by the (did it ever really exist?) mute timing fix... I'll try your plan. |
