Default Cursor at beginning=mute VI?

I noticed that my virtual instruments inside PTG do not sound if the current position of the session is at the beginning. Is this the right behavior in PT?
If yes, any workaround? May be I'm doing something wrong?

I use PT programmed to return to the starting point when I press "stop" but if I return to the beginning of the session I cannot hear anything.

cheers

Ric

I'm not sure what you're asking. Could you be a little more specific please.
