Hm, I tossed 2024 to the trash and reinstalled 2023. seems to work ok.
The 2024 problem remains. I opened a case at Avid and will update you on their response.

looking forward for some assistance. I wonder if AVID uses AI. They ask me same questions over and over again. "What is your problem? What is your operating system? etc..." Not very trustworthy. One mobile call and this would be solved in no time...

I also checked you licenses and they're valid to authorize 2024.3, this might have something to do with some plugins but best to check the crash logs. If you can send it via case we can proceed with further investigation.

hi everybody
When I had iLok managern active during installation of PTools2024 I noticed an error message from iLok managern ond iLok managern crashed. Today I downloaded 2024 again and did an installation with iLok managern closed. Now 2024 works fine. Maybe something to keep an eye on. iLok manager should be closed during PTools installation.

(Maybe we should not exclude that something went wrong during the first download...)

So its good for now
