Default "Fade-in" - one of my favorite PT11 features

I didn't know this feature was added, and its HUGE in my book. I just stumbled across it chasing down a bug last night.

Right below "Post-roll", the new "Fade-in" is a global fade-in that appears to work when transport locks. This is a real ear-saver and I've been wanting this for years. Great for editing, but I'll also be pushing for Post mix-stage playback machines to go to PT11 ASAP. Mixing at 85 with current systems just banging on at full volume is both an ear & nerve buster!

So good on ya AVID - this is a real keeper!

Gotta read those "What's New" docs!!

Makes PT feel like tape in a way instead of those "hard starts"

Whenever new features are introduced, I always make it a point to go through the What's New doc and try out/test each thing.

Transport Fade In is listed on page 2.

I'm sure this feature is going to stay. When is the last time Avid removed a feature from PT?

I didn't realize I was "busting your chops". I thought we were just talking.
