Default How to access JV-1080 banks and patches - MIDI in PT11

Never really used MIDI in PT (or barely, or lately with soft-instruments - AIR or others).

Now, I'm planning to add a JV-1080 and some other modules. I've seen how to ''connect'' to the device in PT, that part is ok.

Back when using Sonar, I had ''instrument definitions'' which made it very easy to connect to my JV-1000, but never tried it with PT...

Is any of you using a JV-xxxx and if so, how do you select patches / banks ?
Do you need to create a ''definition'' from scratch? How is it done ?
