Default phone patch that won\'t break the bank

Sorry if this is a little OT but I think this is the forum that has this type of work requests.
I have a session with a remote client that needs to dirrect via phone.
I'm looking into iChat w/ iSight but for now, I have to rig a phone etc.
Is there a phone patch box that is reliable, quality and won't break the bank?

Thanks for help.

A used Gentner Auto-Coupler if you can find one. They were about $330 new.

this is a good place to look..this was the cheapest, good quality coupler I could find

http://www.bswusa.com/prod_item.asp?item=TELTAP

however, I don't think it will record both incoming and outgoing..you'd have to choose one.

if you want both incoming and outgoing..there are others couplers on that site..
however... they are more expensive

good luck

p.s tell me how it works out, I was thinking of getting one myself

I recently picked up the JK Audio Broadcast Host ($450) for this same purpose and am quite happy with it.

(I know you wasn't refering to me, but what a way to follow my post, making that link seem irrelevant)

If it wasn't for me providing that link...

you probably wouldnt be at that site

try to find the Gentner coupler if you can, (don't take me wrong, excellent suggestion, but see above)

hey spinsong. sorry. didn't mean to make your post seem irrelevant. in fact, my link WAS down-right similar to yours....i happened to have it saved when i did a search about 6 months ago when somebody else sent me there. (i was just being funny with the "blah blah" 'cause they had all this hoo-ha listed there under phone audio...) meant to add to what you were saying. not negate it.
