Fun Fact….

For most people, a discernible change in pitch is between 20-50 cents.

NDA understood. Just trying to help. If you haven’t already fixed it, download melodyne. Pull in the track and drag down. Done.

Reaper can also do it. And it’s free. The length stays the same.

I have one client who insists on 433 or whatever is is. Drives me
Nuts. But it is a weekly occurrence for me.

I have a customer who desperately wants to pitch down a stereo mix 8 cents before putting vocals on.
Yes....you guessed it....I think he was reading about the magic of A-432, and how the harmonic balance of the universe will be corrected and everyone's coffee maker will finally work together in unity.... (or something like that)

Putting his naivety/mental problems aside,
What process would y'all employ to pitch a stereo track down 8 cents, to get the least artifacts and weirdness and maintain the time of the track.
I played with elastic audio for about an hour, and it just did weird things.
I am all ears though, if I was doing something wacky...
Thanks.
8 cents or 8 HZ? Big difference. Each interval in a 12 tone scale has 100 cents. 8 cents you're not going to generally hear unless you have 'golden ears' If you're talking 8 HZ if you have Falcon pop the whole mix in there and pitch it down. Check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Scz8Kh2Cd2g Yes I know it's about Mach 5v3 but the same engine is in Falcon. Most of the same s/w development team as was working on Mach 5v3 for MOTU. Or if you have IRCAM T/S give that a try.

I think the OP is using cents where he means hertz.

Are you sure about cents? There are 100 cents in a semitone so you're talking about a third of a semitone.

Yes.
Cents are relative to the note.
At A 440, to go down to A 432, you have to tune down 32 cents. (Sorry.....31.7 cents)
It will make your brain explode.
