Yep ...and it's quite effective.

So, been looking after yourself, no incidences to report? Hows the left ear, the right, the leg, the big toe, the right elbow ...have I missed anything out?

No pix BM..
There really isn't much new..all the same scenery year after year.
I'll take & share some of my next tracking session, that will be an interesting project.
Staying home for a few more days, it's nasty out there. Driving is challenging.
Any new gear or instrument ?

Funny chap
All parts functioning relatively well, counting the age factor in
Although after these all night gigs I do have muscle aches. Carrying the bloody drumkit up and down stairs always do me in.
I know...should work out or something, but it ain't my cup o' tea. Rather G the pain away ...yo.

Are you ever going into recording commercially ? I mean set up your gear to make some $$ ?
Is there any music/post type of work available where you live ?

take care...

A: what you working on for the next tracking session you mention? as far as scenery, you didn't get out and check out your latest snow eh? tons o' scenery out there, but probably pretty cold sitting on da porch this time of year eh, and not much blows by except for old man frosty. lol As far as new gear, I was thinking about getting an old ham/cb radio for a new experiment (partial audio related, and partial tech related). Found out about a protocol called AX.25 where you can broadcast lowfi data over a ham radio and thought about trying some tunes to see if anyone is out there for fun, plus its kinda free internet, that and you can record off the ham into the box and mix up the sounds for some other form of interesting project.. anywho...

What, for just over the Christmas break? Is it your band or filling in?

Not enough knowledge and even less experience! That's the reality. Short and sweet.

Some, though they normally require skills, unless their looking for an ...what do you guys in the States call it ...intern? We just call them ...boy.

Hey there Maestro..

Diggin the World Junior Hockey tournament thus far ??
I have a Q dude;
Recently a hard rocking band brought in a gtr amp, I've never recorded before. This thing (and the player obviously) was insanely gorgeous sounding. They played stuff like..TOOL.
I know it's made in the Netherlands, but hardly seen around here. It was a "Koch Powertone II"
Have you tried/seen it ? I assume they way more popular over there ..

Anyhoo..have a blast in 2008

bobby
Well hi there... Bobby

No, I don't believe I've used one. It seems like amps beginning with the letter 'K' is the rage nowadays though. Don't ask me why!

..ahhh, that's long gone and we're having a warm weekend
I don't think you'll enjoy audio quality over the ham bandwith my friend
Think there is also some form of licensing involved...
However, sounds like time killing fun on a lazy day.
