Default native instruments

ok I am totaly new to this stuff so I just want to know, can you use this NI b4 in live situation??
like with a midi keyboard controller?? and if so could some one give me a brief idea how to acomplish this?? I would more than likly need a stand alone pc (note book or lap top)??
and load all this software in it then hook up my midi controller to my pc?? but what about my sound where do I get that from??? sound card?? and direct to a PA for live situation??
Any input would be helpfull

You can run B4 in standalone mode. You'll need a PC with a soundcard (Notebooks and Laptops are the same thing) and a MIDI controller. Send the mains from the soundcard to your house mix (and monitor mix).

Yes, sound will come from sound card. Quality may not be great if it's just the on board unless you have an upgraded card. NI suggested RME, too rich for my blood for just playback of B-4. I'm using an Maudio 24-96 PCI card in my second computer for just this reason. Sounds great and has both audio, midi and spidf. I think they have an equivalent for lap tops.

hmm great thanks but what about good horn sounds native have this as well?
