Default Anybody had problems after the hotfix?

Hello, I installed the hotfix yesterday and modified my registry according to the text there but today I see some small programs getting 100% cpu usage and also some minutes ago my pc shutted down by itself while nero was running. I did a little googling to see it's not very wise to modify your registry and I am wondering if the hotfix is to blame about this (after all I just installed it to be sure I don't have any problems with PT 7.3).

Anything similar happened to any of you?
