Default CTRL-ALT-B oddity

Just me, or does anybody else have this happen? Highlight session, go ctrl-alt-b for bounce to disk, and it clears the sound files. Ctrl-z puts them back, then the NEXT time I do ctrl-alt-b, it works. Not a show stopper, but it really shouldn’t be doing this. Pt ultimate 2020.12, latest Win H2 update that I really didn’t want.

Ctrl+B is "Clear", similar to Delete, but only if something is highlighted. Personally, I would try a different keyboard.

Update.....new keyboard, and still the FIRST time you CTRL-ALT-B it clears the highlighted files. CTRL Z puts them back, next CTRL-ALT-B initiates the bounce. Weird. Maybe a conflict with the 20H2 update. Guess I need to bite the bullet and install 2021.3.

No issues here with Ctrl+Alt+B, although 2/3 of that, Ctrl+B, is programmed into the "down" of my mouse wheel. I'll try the keyboard shortcut later today.

BTW, are you in Commands Focus mode? I ask because you're using Ctrl+Z for Undo rather than just Z.

Command focus is off. I have to get in the habit of not getting anywhere near the “b” key until I have pressed “ctrl & alt” first, apparently. Working pretty well having installed 2021.3.

I've had the same issue... even with a programable keyboard.
The solution for me has been to pres them slowly one by one.
