Default External Hard Drive

Hi guys,

I've not been in touch with the forum recently. Can anyone recommend a relatively low price 120 to 200 MB fire wire external hard drive that is doing a descent job of recording audio up to 32 tracks 24/96 simultaneously?
I checked Digi website and recommended hard drives are very limited. I tend to believe there are more compatible and reliable hard drives suitable for LE system.
My system is G5, panther 002 rack PTLE 6.4.

Thanks for your help.

Arya

I've had great success with Transintl's external drives.

The drives from AICMicro aren't bad either.

I have to second the OWC (other world computing) aka, macshop, referral.
I've mixed a whole album which averaged 60 tracks per song on an HD rig with their drives and they were impressive.
I liked the clients drive so much I just bought two 160 gig mercury elite drives for my own projects. I freelance out of a bunch of
studios and so I need external drives to be mobile and fast enough that I don't have to dump projects to house scsi rigs during setup- one less thing to deal with means more time spent thinking about micing etc...

Someone else mentioned the granite digital hot swap rig. I use that a studio I freelance out of and it works great for archive but
I have never tried/trusted it enough to run sessions from it.
