Digilink card starting problem
I have a minor problem with my Digilink card. I am using it to communicate with an Omni. If I start the computer from a complete shutdown, the card doesn’t start. It shows in Device Manager as not started. If I then do a restart, it starts and works fine as long as the computer stays running. I am not experiencing any other problems. Pro Tools works perfectly.
I am using an Avid-qualified HP Z4 with a w-2145 & 64 G of ram. Pro Tools Ultimate 2020.12.0. Windows 10. Nvidia Quadra P2000. All Avid recommended optimizations have been done. The card is in the Avid recommended slot but just to experiment I tried it in a different slot and the results were the same. There is also a UAD 2 card in the machine which works fine. I also have an Artist Mix which works fine. I also have a Sync HD that works fine. This really isn’t a bad problem but I would like to fix it. Any thoughts? Thanks.
