About adobe audition. The big drawback is that it's recording audio to temp files that need to be saved after the take . So just one hiccup and you've lost your take, which is not really desirable.
The last version was buggier than anything else. Maybe this version is better, but they're definately loose my trust before this release.
About leaving ptle and buy logic. Would someone englighten me? What are those groundbreaking features that logic has and protools not? I think protools midi side came a long way and now it's really usable. I mean there is many new features in logic, which are basics for many competitors (even for ptle) for years. The new comping method seems good, but even after a few days I am hearing that it's buggy on certain machines and nobody knows what is happening.
I think logic is trying to aim a different market, let's call it "we give you some not so big features, but buy our new hardware" think. imho
