Default Re-Conforming and PT 11

Hello - in the past few years our facility has started doing more and more longer form corporate videos and documentaries. I have longed for some software that can take a new AAF(or OMF) + Quicktime and move all of my already processed(noise reduced, unveil-ed, etc) and organized regions to their new proper location on the timeline. Plus...somehow reveal what material is new(or delete regions no longer in the edit).

I've never really researched the conforming and re-conforming solutions until now. I've looked into Conformalizer, Virtual Katy, and EdiTrace...but could some of you make a recommendation? We will be on PT 11 with HDX on Mac. Our video folks are on Media Composer with ISIS. I'm not sure any of the above solutions have claimed to support PT11 yet(I emailed that question to Conformalizer support). Also - if EdiTrace is "pay as you go" only, I don't think that will work for us - looking for an outright purchasse if possible. Thank you!

Editrace no longer exists, replaced by EdiLoad 3

VK no longer functions with PT11 at all

Conformaliser seems to be the only real solution for reconforming by EDL.

ReConformer works in PT11 but does not do EDL comparison relying instead on change notes.

EdiLoad 3 is now an outright purchase option.

As Andrew says EdiLoad v3 is an app (Mac/Win) you can purchase and contains the functions that were available in the EdiTrace website. It can compare EDLs and re-conform a PT session including PT11. We just released EdiLoad v3.1.0 on Friday for compatibility with PT11.0.3 and Mavericks.

See the EdiLoad product page for more info and videos showing feature highlights and one with Mike from Pro Tools Expert showing the new EDL compare features in v3.

Regards,

Mark
