I think with the MAC OS there is a special "eucon cleaning" script you can try to run if you're having issues.. I'll see if I can dig it up.. I use a PC so I'm not 100% familiar with it..

Thank you... Felt like a lone wolf here! Been a ProTools user since Version 4 so I'm not a complete idiot but since no one was responding to the post I figured I must be the only one doing something wrong! Hopefully 3.7.1 will come out and I can use it again. Neyrinck V-Control until then I guess..

Ah.. I check this every day but I'm not a MAC user so I didn't jump in right away. Were you able to try the cleaning script? if so did it help?

Did the clean uninstall and ran the script and re-installed. Still no luck. The script pretty much just deletes the prefs files which I was going in and manually finding and deleting. So still not talking...

ah, that sux man.. so, just going back and re-reading the thread. are you not on 12.8.2 x106? -- I don't see why that would make a difference since you should be getting the "E" regardless of what PT version you're running. I'm just grasping at straws here.. I'm surprised Eddie hasn't jumped in on this yet..

Have you tried running EuControl from Applications ?

The EUCON Control Panel is only for setting up HUI/Mackie Apps.

Thanks Eddie! Now I do feel like an idiot!! Always thought the only way to access the Eucon stuff was through the system prefs. Problem solved!
