I have noticed the Omni is warm on the left top side.
Im guessing if this heat is not freely let out in the room the Omni
could overheat wich probably would make the fan work harder and create more noise.

This is partly why I don't have it in a rack or anything above it.

Currently, our Omni is in a ventilated rack at arms length from the console. Firmware is 2.10 and fan is set to auto. Fan noise is not an issue here.
