Default Errors galore

Setting up the lab computers at the college. Even attempting to play a BLANK track INSTANTLY yields an error #9093 (OS held off interrupts for too long. Increase h/w buffer) with a 512 buffer.
INCREASE the buffer to 1024 or even 2048 gives INSTANTLY a 9129 error, "audio processing is conflicting with other cpu tasks.try REDUCING the buffer size.
Win XP/Mbox 2-mini/PT 8. Frustrating at best. Thanks in advance guys!!! (EDIT....we asked for SEAGATE drives but we GOT WD BLUE drives. Potentially the problem????)

I'm not an expert but:
Platform Compliance : Intel vPro-what exactly is vPro?
Mbox 2-mini-Try different USB ports. Sometimes make all the difference
Chipset
Model : HP Q45/Q43 DRAM Controller
-not sure if this is compatible
Graphics Processor-is this a separate video card, or integrated onto the motherboard? Integrated will have the video ports next to the mouse/keyboard PS2 ports.

As to the WD Caviar Blue drives, I am confused. I have some and they work fine, but mine are 16 mb cache, while yours are showing as 8 mb cache(not the source of the trouble, but may be a performance drain on bigger sessions).

If you go into Setup>Hardware setup, are you able to select 2 cores for RTAS processing? If so, try it set to 1 AND again at 2 to see if it makes a difference. If you only can select 1, then something is wrong in BIOS. Also, review all your system tweaks(especially USB power management). And who set these up? Did they come loaded with a whole bunch of HP bloatware? If so, I would flatline them, and load in XP from scratch, without any of the extra garbage. Disable the network cards for now too.

An update, and they all work just fine. Went into bios and set SATA POWER MANAGEMENT to "regular" and disabled the network cards. It works!!!!! Thanks Albee!
