Sound Miner key command to delete files?
Hi,
I've been a very happy Sound Miner user for years. Version 4 is apparently capable of deleting sound files from the archive using a key command from the browser window. Does anyone know what it is? I don't mean deleting an entry from the database, I mean deleting it from disk. It has happened well over a dozen times since I upgraded 8 or 9 months ago and happened again yesterday. I auditioned a file, heard it and liked it, and then my fingers fumbled on the keyboard. I relocated the sound I just heard and asked SM to import it into PT. SM reported it could not find the file. I checked the effects archive and the folder that contained that sound had a new modification date and indeed the file was missing. I restored the file it from a backup and everything was okay. As I said, this has happened numerous times, there must be a key combination that does this. What is it? |
