Default Avid Pro Tools MBox

Hello! I work in a school and we are thinking about buying 5 Mbox's for 5 mini studios...We're a bit worried about them getting stolen as they're quite small and as such, nickable. Could anyone who owns one of these tell me if there's a Kensington lock on it or anything attached to the body to allow it to be secured to something?

I've searched the forum and Google with no such luck.

Many thanks!

Looking at the photos, I don't see a Kensington lock slot, so you would need to get creative with it. Some kind of metal strap with security screws, or maybe put cameras in the rooms so you know who stole them? Or maybe put cameras in the room(that don't work) so people THINK they would get caught?

I have a MBox 2, I don't have it with me right now, but I strongly believe, it is got a hole for a Kensington Lock

I have one right in front of me... and it most certainly does not.

the 2 Pros has a K-lock

I would go into a dealer and look at the new ones (why doesn't Avid.com have the 360 view like Digidesign.com did?)

Could 9 w/o an interface be an option?

Sweetwater has good pictures of the unit, front and back. I don't see any K slots on it.

Haha dummy cameras definitely sound like the way to go! Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. Seems strange that they would have the Kensington lock on the previous generations but not this one...

on the 2 Pros it's on the side not the back
that's why I suggested going to a place that has them to look at the sides

@Dism
I don't know, what kind of Mbox 2 you've got, but here is proof, that mine indeed has a hole for a Kensington Lock :
