Default Adam AX8's comments

I was at guitar center the other day I was killing 10 minutes so I started listening to these monitors and oh my God they are fabulous sounding -

has anybody use them in real world applications?

These are the ones with the two portholes on the bottom along with the carbon fiber woofer

My poor NS-10's just don't have the low freq - I would love these new Adams but I wanted to take a poll of what some people thought of them

Nice - I liked them a lot and I'm sure they sound nice - I wondered if someone had used these - reliability and what not

Had a pair at my last job. They were nice.

But I want some Focal SM9s.

I guess once you get in high dollar monitors it's just subtle differences in the responses?

What makes genelec monitors so great ?

I can understand why I need to upgrade my NS-10's they have limited bass response which is causing me mix issues

But I guess what I'm saying is what is the difference b/t near field's in the $1000 dollar range (each) and the $2500 range (each)

I like the Adams but when I heard the detail of the Focals I wanted them.

It was a demo at RSPE so it was off there switch/monitor system.
Yes they aren't cheap, that's why I haven't gotten them yet.
