Pro Tools Fatal Error (Help!)
Hello all,
I just bought an Mbox today and so far am very frustrated. Here is my problem...I installed Pro Tool LE 6.1 on my 17" 1.33 G4 Powerbook running OS X (10.3.1) with 1 GB of ram. After I installed i restated my computer, plugged in the MBox and ran Pro Tools. The program opened perfectly fine, but when I went to create a new session, my entire computer locked up and forced me to restart. I was like, "wow, that was weird". I immediatley went to www.digidesign.com and downloaded the update for Pro Tools LE 6.1.2. I installed the update, restarted my computer and ran the application again. This time, it only got to the preloader and froze my computer again. I tried uninstalling, and reinstalling, deleting preferences restarting and try to run the app. again but no luck. I searched the forums, but could not find a solution. If anyone knows how to fix this, or a link to further information regarding this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. later, oaker |
