Default 7.4 and Mojo video stutter

HI all, we are getting problems with Mojo playback after we installed 7.4. We are on a PPC Dual 2.0ghz HD4 and previously on 7.3.1 the problematic video playback wasn't an issue. therefore the MXF file is fine. It's a stuttering sort of problem as if it's only playing a 6 frames in every 10. Has anybody else seen this problem and have a workaround?

Regards

Just found a workaround!!!! Record arming the video track then knocking that back off seems to cure it. Looks like a bug to me. We are running a PAL session here just in case our cousins across the pond are not getting this problem

I'm still getting this problem even with sessions with picture that was recorded in 7.4. Does anynody else get this? or is there something wrong just with my system. I'm loathed to load 7.4 on my other systems just in case i get the same problem

Confused?

Hello,
same behaviour here with picture captured in 7.3.1 and playback in 7.4 (tested it with PT HD and PT LE)... and the only workaround i found is the same like yours - activating once the videorecordbutton after starting PT.

Would either of you possibly be able to send me a video file that exhibits this problem?

If you need a method to get it to us, let me know and I can give you DigiDelivery account info.

Thanks!

No problem give me an email address and i'll send it to you via our Digidelivery system. Also I'm not convinced bout the sync on 7.4 with Mojo, Doesn't look as rock solid as 7.3.1. Will run synccheck on it later and tell you results

I was not able to repro the problem with your session on PPC. The session that you sent is missing one video and 2 audio files (from the region bin). If you remove those files from your session, does the problem go away?

Also, which expansion chassis are you using?

Hi Jordan don't worry about the missing audio and picture. That was the original recording that dropped out.Sorry I should have erased unused regions. I am using a PCI Expansion HD that came with our D Command Bundle. It's weird because my colleague Doug Sinclair attached a Mojo to his Intel Apple laptop and loaded 7.4. LE on it. The playback performance of the picture was well poor. Is it a PAL problem?

Confused
