Re: Wildtangent remove?????????
I downloaded WildTangent voluntarily from Shockwave.com (how embarassing!)....it was some kind of driver that was apparently needed to run some game. Never had a problem with it but I removed it anyway cause I didn't need it. No problems since either. Oh wait, won't we get in trouble for being off topic?! Please...everyone...be gentle, i'm new! |

Re: Wildtangent remove?????????
well actualy to me it is kinda related..im trying to get as much stuff out of my pc that i dont need prior to installing 7.0.......someone mentioned i might have some things not configured right because of buffer error problems and i thought id try to optimize my rig as much as i can before i install something new and this WildTangent thing was lurking in the shadows.........chas

Re: Wildtangent remove?????????
A suggestion for your PT7 upgrade: buy another system drive and do a fresh load of everything, or ghost your present drive to the new one and remove it. If (AKA when) you have problems with 7, you can always re-instal the old drive so you can make music. I have been rotating system drives now for each update(6.1 to 6.4, to 6.7, to 6.9) and each time I have had to go back once due to some complication. Having the previous working drive ready to go has been a lifesaver. Best $50 you can spend!
