PT 11 Metering Bug?

PT11 HD, osx 10.7.5

It seems the peak indicators clear after 3 seconds, regardless of the setting (none, 3 secs, infinite) in the preferences.

Anyone else seeing this? Particularly anyone on 10.8.x as I know 10.7 isn't officially supported.

I am on Win 7 64 bit. What I am observing is an audio file that is peaking in PT 11 plays back without any peak in PT 10.

The way "peaks" are shown has changed in 11. In 10, the peak indicator would light when a real peak hadn't actually occurred due to the 32 bit environment. Now, only true output (D/A) peaks will cause the red indicator and internal "peaks" will be a different color.

Yellow peaks vs Red peaks. I get it now. The red peaks (ie on a master channel) work as expected. Thanks for clearing that up Drew.
