Am I heading in the right direction ?

Hi,

I thought i'd post this question here as it seems like to be the best place to get decent feedback. I am currently in the middle of setting up a commercial studio with the emphasis on helping disadvantaged kids get into music, however I also want to be able to use the studio commercially.

I am fairly new to recording but have been playing guitar and singing for about 15 years, I have already purchased the following equipment and wondered if anyone has any insight or comments about what I may or may not be doing correctly.

G5, 1.8Ghz 4Gb 160Gb (Dual Head 17")
HD 2 Accel, HD Pack and Massive Pack Plugs.
2 x 192 I/O (Extra 8 A/D) and Midi
Control 24
Genelec 1031a Surround monitoring
TC System 6000
Various Pre's from Avalon, Focusrite, SPL, and TLA
Glyph GT2 Firewire inc 4 x Caddy's

Just as an aside this will not be a make or break commercial venture as I already have another business which earns me a living.

Any comments appreciated.
