Default CD burning help for a newbie!

Can someone please tell me the best way to record my audio (beat/vocals) from pro tools onto CD? It appears there are multiple audio files in the session folder...do I have to Bounce to Disk to flatten the file?

You must first bounce to disc, to a 16 bit 44.1k stereo interleaved .wav of AIFF file. then burn that file as audio to a CD-R. I recommend Toast version 5, however you can burn it using iTunes jsut as easily w/o having to buy add'l software.

Hope this is helpful.

Hey Where, why do you recommend Toast over iTunes? Thanks.

Charlie.

I don't "recommend" Toast over iTunes, however Toast has features far beyond that of iTunes. iTunes will burn audio CD's just fine.

Hope this is helpful.

This is what I needed to know...and I do Have Toast 5 running at this time....I was just confused when I dropped the audio files and then realized that file 1_0.1 was the beat and 1_0.2 was the vocals...tracks one and two came out pretty funny...and instrumental and an accapella! haha! Thanks for your feedback!
