Default Sonar to PT to CD

I just had a friend come by with a Sonar file in stereo that we converted into PT. I am pretty new at this but we got the file in and working. I did some edits and added some compression and then...I realized that I don't know how to mixdown to CD from ProTools.

I realize that this is a question that can probably be answered by doing a search, but ever since the forum got back up I just get a blank screen when I perform a search in DUC. I have already poured through the manual, but I can't find the answer there either.

I don't know if it makes any difference, but I am using Nero software. I will be grateful for any thoughts that anybody has. Thanks for your time.

With the i-beam, select the part that needs to be bounced, or dont select anything (then everything gets bounced)
choose file/bounce to disc.
choose wav or "bwf"(if you have pt5.3.1)
choose stereo-interleaved/44.1 Khz/16 bit

You could get some trouble with Nero if you dont have the latest version. Nero will then tell you this is not a file that can be burned. If that happens, either upgrade nero, or open the resulting wav-file in another editor, and save it again. (Protools places additional info in the file, and nero doesnt know how to cope with that. Opening and saving it in another application will remove this info)

Thanks Bastiaan, I'll give that a try. Do I need to dither during this process?
