Default AAE 6101 errors. Pro Tools 11 HD. Help!

I know this is an old issue, but I keep getting random 6101 errors. Not often, but sometimes in the middle of a session recording. Its a cpu spike that comes and goes. I can't recreate it cause I never know when its gon' happen.

Last nite, I decided to do a partition with mavericks only, and pro tools 11hd just to see if it could possibly be a software issue. Well, I ran a simple session for about 2 mins and BOOM AAE error 6101.
My mac mini has been flawless up until now (within the last 8 months or so).
Any ideas?

System; mac mini quad core; 16gig of ram; 2 500gig internal drives; swapped out the main drive for SSD drive abt 2 months ago; All sessions are on External drives. Running pt11.1.2 HD. OSX Mavericks. (FYI; I was getting AAE errors BEFORE I upgraded to Mavericks).

What are you using for an interface?

a bunch of us share your problems, with lots of different interfaces...

I got really bad for me as soon as 11.1.2 came out so I rolled back to 11.1.1 and that helped a lot...still getting the problem but not remotely as often...maybe twice a day vs every 30 minutes or so.
I never had the problem until 11.1

I am still on Mountain Lion so I don't think it's Mavericks specific

hope this helps a bit

I guess I'll (we'll) just have to wait then.
