Default How to remove unwanted plugins?

I'm sure this has been asked before, and I apologize for asking again, as me and search ain't gettin' along.

How do I remove unwanted/unlicensed/old plugins from a Mac?

Detailed guidance is mush appreciated!

Also.
Know that removing ALL AAX plugin's is Fine. Modern Pro Tools will AUTO-Install all base plug-in's fresh. (Additional installs for Extra Plugs may be required)
Pro Tools current 2018
research the rest of your actual-needed plug-ins and get the latest installers for your licenses.

Be aware that this is just for the aax format plugins. A lot of people when they install a plugin will allow the installer to also install the au/vst/vst3 format plugins as well. They can be found at:
The AU plugin is at location:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

and/or:
Users/your username/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/components

And the VSTs are at locations:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST
and or:

Users/your username/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3

and/or:
Users/your username/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3

Also for the aax format plugins one can move them to the unused plugins folder

"Know that removing ALL AAX plugin's is Fine. Modern Pro Tools will AUTO-Install all base plug-in's fresh. (Additional installs for Extra Plugs may be required)

I can't delete "Eleven Lite aax-plugin" (I have got Eleven, so I don't need Eleven Lite). Every time I start Pro Tools it is there again. Is this the cause?

Pro Tools 12.8.4

Probably: Go to Applications -> Pro Tools: Right click to "Show Package Contents", then navigate to Contents -> Plugins -> Core Plugins. You can remove it if it's in there - then it won't keep auto-installing.

That's for a Mac - the person asking the question is on Windows.
