I've got a custom made vocalbooth.com one as well and love it. Not only great for tracking vocals, but I stick guitar amps in there too and it's a lot quieter for sure.

I can only assume that you guys did not build it yourself. I have one as well and it was HELL putting it together. There was only like 2-3 poorly photocopied sheets for "directions". The instructions made no sense and left out a good bit of details of the construction. Having said that though once it was together it works great!

I had a whisper room setup, and I built a second room. The whisper room was semi-portable in that you could take it apart and reassemble it. It worked fine, but was not as quiet as the one I built myself. I ended up selling the whisper room years later for a good price because it WAS portable (if you were used to lifting weights!). I would think you would want to see one first before buying one.

I have a 4x6 vocal booth from gretch-ken industries, and it was a chore to assemble, but works fine. Building one would be a LOT cheaper. Can't remember exactly what I paid for this one but I do remember it worked out to 150-200 dollars per square foot! SB
