Default Premiere AAF export option "Render Audio Clip Effects" not working

I work with many editors who like to add their own audio effects when editing such as reverb, low pass filters, etc. Over the years I have been able to receive these audio clip effects from Premiere in AAFs. However, recently this feature seems to be broken. I'm guessing it's a bug in the latest update from Adobe. However, I would love to be told otherwise!!!! Does anyone know how to get the feature called "Render Audio Clip Effects" from the Premiere AAF export window to work? From the AAF export window we've tried both Render options (Include Complete Audio Files and Trim Audio Files). We've also tried both WAV and AIFF file formats. No luck.

Thanks in advance.
