OT: Who's been on their summer Holidays?

Just got back from Greece. Hot+++. Kids had chest infections,wife had the squits, I sprained my ankle.......and a great time was had by all. Pricey though, thanks to the Euro! Time was when half a litre of beer was 30 pence (50cents) and a bottle of wine was 70 pence ($1.10) and a meal for 4 about £10 ($15). Now all in about £45 per meal. home in seattle for a couple weeks. Jetlag, I'm writing this at 5:30 am!

I'm freelance now, so I haven't been on a real summer holiday in a few years - can't afford to be away if business calls. However, when my girlfriend goes to the cottage and I've got the condo to myself, it's almost like a real holiday. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

I was lucky enough to go to Destin (Florida) for a week... it truly did my soul good. There was a full moon on the ocean each night...all that. Just a beautiful time.

Going to Destin, Florida with my girlfriend and my telescope in two weeks. This will be one of the first non-working trips I have made to the beach in years and I am looking forward to it!

Just got back from the Costa Del Sol in Spain. Siesta from 3 to 5 every day, dinner at 11PM.

I could get used to that.
