Default file rename after the fact?

So i have a session with lots of files/regions named mono-1-03 and such. Is there a way to rename all those files and regions to confer to the track they are currently occupying, or any similar batch rename to more sensible naming convention?

You can use Auto Rename from the Regions list menu.

Another idea could be to consolidate your tracks and rename the resulting regions however desired.

That's my suggestion too. Once each is consolidated, just double-click on a track/region to bring up the renaming window.

If there's only one region on each track I would rename the track, then select the region and consolidate. The new region will reflect the new track name.

If there's several regions on each track I would use Auto Rename. Doesn't matter if you rename the track before or after you rename the regions, since Auto Rename doesn't reflect the track name, which BTW I find really lame.
