Default Re: Switching from HD Native to Apogee Ensemble Thunderbolt - Input Monitoring Off

I thought I should update my situation.
For now I decided to try Apogee Quartet instead of Ensemble 2.
And after two months I have to say Pro Tools HD + Apogee Quartet is a better overall solution than HD Native + Omni.
Of course monitoring latencies through Pro Tools are higher but I have the option of using Maestro near zero latency.

The added benefit of using Core Audio interface in Pro Tools is the ability to freely route Pro Tools output to other applications such as Nicecast for high quality streaming or ScreenFlow for capturing Pro Tools screen with audio.

For now I run Pro Tools HD from my Macbook Pro in closed shell mode, 32" Ultrawide LG screen, ICON D-Command 24 and Apogee Quartet.
