I have this same problem. It seems it is happening with S6. When I "attention" track which has Trigger2 and S6 is trying to "auto bank" track then PT crashes right away.

Nice to know if somebody find how to solve this..

OK .
So I' made a fresh session. instantiated Trigger 2, all ok until I attention the track with Trigger 2 on it. . Then, crash. As JukaMusic says.

With no S6 present all is ok.

Download team viewer aswell they used this when my SSD4 was crashing so they could take control of the PC. Since they sorted my issue I've not had 1 single crash :)

I found that I can work with Trigger2 and whole session if I don't use attention for tracks where is Trigger.. Just choose "Snare Top" instead of "Snare X".. And when "Snare Top" is in attention you can do all stuff to Snare X channel also.. faders, solo, mute, fix Trigger2, put other plugins after Trigger etc.. Then all is working right.. Just remember - Don't touch channel attention:)

So the problem is only attention mode with channel which has Trigger2.
