i thought mix control was only for the saffire interfaces. does this 'scarlett mix control' work with the 2i2?

No, the Scarlett 2i2 is not compatible with Scarlett MixControl. this model has no mixer, should have it because it is a headache. (sorry for my bad english)

Hi John,

The new Scarlett MixControl beta 1.9b10 installs driver 3.2.1, this driver will not allow you to use any other sample rate in your DAW other than the one that has been defaulted in Windows sound preferences if Windows sound is streaming.

I'm so SICK of fighting with this Scarlett 8i6. I've had it almost two years and I've NEVER completed a project with it. Focusrite obviously doesn't care as there are very well know issues with the Scarlett series including:

- Pops and clicks
- USB connection crapping out randomly
- Can't change the Bitrate properly
- Wont' even connect in Pro Tools 12!

They point you to a beta driver which is a YEAR old.

I will never buy another Focusrire product again.

Hi PilotGav,

Sorry to hear you have been experiencing issues with your interface for so long. Have you opened a case with us yet? We have released two new beta drivers within the past 2 months, but pops, clicks, and disconnecting issues can be caused by any number of instances. If you would like me tell help look into this issue further please PM me so I can get some specific information.

"I will never buy another Focusrire product again."

firm +1

I don't use my 816 as an interface anymore. Run the outputs to the 192 and use the pres. I don't need the misery of having Focusrite interfacing and failing with PT.

And I don't want to run anymore tests on my computer to see what's wrong with "it" that isn't living up to Focusrite's standards. It's built for audio and works great other interfaces.

I have a buddy with a Saffire Pro 40 that would love to see this resolved as well.
It is INSANELY annoying to say the least.
Subscribing to follow results, and hoping this is addressed with the Saffires as well

I am bailing on my HD Native rig in one room, in favor of Waves Hardware (And integrating in another)....
The Waves hardware switches between rates in PT without any issues.

Seems to point to the Focusrite drivers.

Seems to point to the Focusrite drivers.

As a former Saffire user I can say my Apollo switches rates in PT with no fuss as well.

Table, selling your HDN? I'm interested PM me if you are.
