Default Recording light

Hi, does anyone know how can I turn the red light of my studio on when I press "rec" in Pro Tools?

If you have a sync I/O then look at the manual and you will see that the accessory port on the rear has the capbility to trigger a recording light. It is a TTL output, that in my case I fed to a DMX controller that then runs all the Record lights in the studio via a dimmer system. works a treat!

Hey, for a second, I thought this was a thread literally about "recording light". What went through my mind was something about what kind of sample rate would be required to be able to record light. (something about the old term "DC to Light" made me think of this...OK, it's late, and I'm tired...)
