playback only in left ear, very quiet
I'm totally new to pro tools, dabbled briefly in cubase, but really don't know much about recording. just installed pro tools se on my macbook, running 10.6.8. after installing the program, I ran a demo song to see if playback was working correctly and it only plays out of the left ear of my headphones, and very quietly. same with anything I've tried to record and songs I imported from itunes. I've checked the headphones, I've checked the computer's regular sound output.. they're both ok and working fine. I'm sure it's just some dumb setting I need to adjust, but I have no idea what it is. help?

Re: playback only in left ear, very quiet
Which M-Audio interface do you have? Are you using a headphone adapter to connect the headphones? Is it a stereo adapter?
