shure ksm44
Has anyone used the shure ksm44? How is it compared to rode ntk and neuman tlm103? I'm planning on getting one soon. Still haven't decided on which preamp am I going to get, but it has to better than digi's pres. Any recomendations? Thanks in advance for your replies.

I have used both the NTK and the KSM44 thru a Joe Meek SC 2.2 for vocals.
The NTK sound went BAM! Very present, very warm. The KSM didn't produce the NTK warmth or presence. As for the TLM103, I have heard many great things about that mic, but I have never actually heard it in action. You should check the Joe Meek VC1QCS micpre/comp/de-esser or a dbx 576 or 586 Tube pre.
