I wonder if they are going to give you the other 5 bands of the EQ if you buy it after October 31.

Do I need another EQ? No. But it is free...

I think I like it. Or at least the ideas incorporated in the plugin. It's like the graphic equalizer ported into the digital domain.

I see some use for having more resolution, narrower bands for the mids and fewer, broader bands for lows and highs.

Heck, I could just use it as a frequency analyzer!

(Gonna have to read up on the Mel Scale thing, that's a new one for me...)

I like it a lot, it does matching eq and it can be customized in many ways.

Great video @guitardom, it showed up early today in my subscriptions.

MEL is interesting. Its actually a scientific proven method that is used quite regularly that is based on freq's that we are most sensitive to. So the "default" MEL setting in EQuivocate are those (26) bands.

Also; Mel Gibson (famous guitar builder...)

https://www.sfu.ca/sonic-studio/handbook/Mel.html

Apparently Mel is not an acronym but the abbreviation of 'Melodic'.
