Yes on all the SSD drives. Checking drives for errors comes back clean every time on all 4 drives, despite cloning software telling me there was an error on the source drive(which has worked flawlessly throughout this whole escapade). Seems to now be working. Running the latest PT and Pace and after 4 more reboots and smooth running on a few sessions, I may be out of the pits. Sure would be nice to know why all this happened... After the weekend, I will try cloning this fresh system drive to another and see what happens appreciate all the suggestions

Oh man...

Have you ever tried cloning a working system onto a virgin ( yes, formatted ) drive, than recover from this image to yet another virgin drive ?
Also , is your Backupper Pro running a verify cycle right after you imaging the system drive ? In the case of software glitch it would ( I think ) pop out an error code (???)

Have you ever tried unplugging from networks and disable all virus scanners, firewall, etc...?

Bloody hell, I can't think of anything..With a release version ( non beta) BIOS and a healthy boot sector the baby should just wake up . Flaky connecting cables ?...

Hmmm, early on, I was running the verify routine, but got so disgusted, I skipped it after a while(never had a verify actually report any errors ever). No virus scanner or firewall other than Windows Defender. As for virgin drives, I've done several with no noticeable difference(always ran a full format first). I suppose I could try disconnecting the network next time(we'll see what happens next week when I attempt to clone my current drive with the latest PT........I can hardly wait
